There was a small article in the Local section of the register about a pygmy sperm whale spotted by surfers near seal beach, it also mentions a small gray whale spotted by sailors in Dana Point Harbor.
Apparently during the last 3 weeks several surfers have spotted whales........including Catie's "darling Dave".
